Ms. Gondwe noted that there is moral decay among adolescents in the area which has led to most of them engaging in illicit activities such as premarital sex. ZANIS reports that Ms. Gondwe said this during a District Adolescent Health data review meeting for the first quarter of 2021 which was held at Milenge Resource Centre yesterday. “I try as much as possible to encourage school going children to abstain from premarital sex. From my interactions with them during outreach programmes in some schools, I observed that some of them are sexually active as they did not wholly receive the abstinence message," she said.
